My client is looking for Drillers preferably from an Operator who have a minimum of 10 years experience and must be degree level educated.

Goals of the Position

fx Ensure the good performance of the drilling, cost and security.
fx Assist in evaluating bids and negotiate drilling related contracts with the service providers.
fx Liase and communicate with the rigs, the hierarchy, the engineering, the internal services and the different service companies.
fx Co-ordinate services, personnel and equipment to the rig site.
fx Ensure the good execution of the drilling programs by the drilling supervisors.
fx Assist the operation engineering and the drilling manager in preparing the drilling programs for each well.
fx Find solutions for unplanned problems at the rigs with the collaboration of the engineers. Take calculated risks.
fx Responsible for the operations, the safety of the well and the personnel.

Purpose of the Position

fx Ensure the operations are conducted in the best interest of Groupement. Discusses future operations plans with the Drilling Supervisors and the Drilling Engineer in an effort to optimize and eliminate problems.
fx Communicate effectively with the Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Engineer to ensure that all technical specifications of the Drilling Program and Drilling Manual are met.
fx Provide technical trouble shooting when problems occur on the drilling rig.
fx Prepare monthly drilling operations reports and perform a technical review of all drilling programs and final well reports.
fx Ensure that wells are drilled and completed in a manner that meets the objectives of the Reservoir, Production, Geological departments and upper management.
fx Provide on site support, on important operations and control them with the Drilling Manager.
fx Review equipment planning with Drilling Engineer and the Material & Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely equipment arrivals and to eliminate equipment overstocking.
fx Coordinate with the Drilling Engineer and the Material & Logistics Coordinator the timely arrival of drilling equipment and services on well site.
fx Verify the precision and the reliability of the daily drilling reports sent by the supervisors.
fx Conduct morning calls and review morning reports from the Groupement drilling rigs with the Drilling Supervisor at the rig site and the Drilling Engineer
fx Lead the morning meetings, inform of current and upcoming operations and proposes solutions to prevent problems from occurring.
fx Identify personnel training requirements for the drilling staff and ensure that the necessary training is provided.
fx Perform periodic evaluations for his personnel and concentrates on improvements of his personnel.
fx Coordinate water well permitting and drilling.

My client urgently require a Project Services Coordinator for the following assignment:

- Liaise with overall PMT management staff in areas of construction schedules, budget, trends, change orders, and forecasting. Responsible for all site planning, cost, contract administration, and document control activities.
- Focal point for development and maintenance of construction risk register.
- Coordinate site input for the project weekly and monthly reports
- Establish procedures to receive site invoices and expedite project approvals.
- Prepare monthly project cost and status reports for construction input into the overall project report.
- Responsible for administration and logistics for all CA personnel at site.
- Responsible for coordination of site travel and movements.
- Responsible for meeting arrangements and meeting minutes for weekly site meetings

Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in the engineering and construction of processing facilities.
- Management experience with large international construction teams.
- Specific experience includes maintaining Project schedules, cost control systems, commercial agreements, and risk management systems.
- Requires experience with construction progress audits and QV procedures
- 4 Year College Degree - Engineering Degree preferred (required for work permit applications)

Customs Operations Manager
3 x positions available: Locations: Mombasa, Kenya - Maputo, Mozambique - Beira, Mozambique.
Rotation: 28/28 - 6/2 - 8/3

The Customs Operations Manager reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all import and export transactions are completed on-time and within applicable rules and regulations. Position will interface with freight forwarders, customs officers, custom brokers, customer and contractors representatives on all matters pertaining to customs and imports/exports for the Project.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manages all air, sea and land import/export files for the Project.
- Manages customs clearance operations to ensure air, sea and road deliveries for the customer.
- Receives, verifies and approves import/export documents (BL, AWB, MSDS, Invoices, Packing List etc.).
- Traces and monitors all importation/exportation
- Plans and prepares customs clearance before shipment arrival in Pemba
- Opens customs files and follows up customs clearance operations
- Ensures the delivery of material to client within deadlines
- Daily liaison and coordination with customer, shipper and local customs` authorities
- Sends complains to shipper in case of non conformity
- Spreads information through appropriate communication means in case of litigation relative to a file
- Draws, updates and upgrades customs operational standards, rules and procedures
- Ensures customs operations are in compliance with Mozambican`s customs procedures and company`s rules and procedures
- Conducts regulatory self audits / compliance to the latest customs regulations
- Informs the client and company hierarchy of possible problems and delays
- Supervises the control of customs clearance documents and maintains accurate records of all import/export documents (tracking file)
- Reports to the Project Manager and functionally to the Deputy Manager and maintains a close working relationship with the shipping, finance, HSE and HR Departments
- Provide detailed reporting to company management
- Defines, optimizes and improves local logistics processes
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
