Our client is a Major Energy company that operates worldwide within Upstream, Midstream and Downstream business sectors.
Currently they are looking for a Deepwater Commissioning Manager for one of their projects in China.
You will lead all disciplines of the 4 people within the commissioning team for the deepwater subsea production system and reclamation Package.
The position with work closely with the other teams managing the EPC contracts.
The focus of this position and the team reporting to this position will be to ensure that there are no gaps in the commissioning interfaces between the commissioning scopes of the EPC contractors and to ensure all documentation complies with the operating central platform.
Responsibilities
Establish and Maintain a safe working environment
Ensure adherence to established project procedures
Ensure all quality control documentation associated with commissioning activities is completed
Review detailed planning and commissioning procedures prepared by the EPC Contractors and prepare for any gaps in the scope of work
Monitor the progress of the site activities during the mechanical completion and commissioning phases
Coordinate the execution of the deepwater commissioning activities
Degree in Engineering desirable
HSE qualification
Commissioning of offshore facilities
Experience on deepwater natural gas subsea tieback system commissioning
Strong commercial experience
Proficiency in Mandarin is a significant plus
