In this division we have a department in Hørsholm, Technical Safety, which is responsible for the technical integrity of these and future operated fields in the Danish sector. Your main Tasks
- Act as Technical Authority and internal consultant in connection with new projects.

Position description
Senior Concept Engineer This role is to carry out Concept Engineering in support of Upstream Development. PTU/E has a team of Concept Engineers engaged in Upstream Development studies and consultancy level engineering skills to the business. PTU/E works with its UI, NBD and Exploration customers to deliver the highest return on investment from their hydrocarbon opportunities by:
- Identifying and selecting the optimum facilities concept by working in and leading integrated discipline/business teams.
- Optimising the asset performance throughout its lifetime.
- Finding innovative and cost effective engineering solutions that are integrated into the TECOP spectrum, to unlock reserves and to optimise and improve production capacities of the surface facilities.
Most of the Upstream Development Study work is in the Identify and Assess and Select ORP phases leading to the acceptance of a Field Development Plan by the appropriate Decision Review Board. Consultancy is also provided across the project lifecycle with an increasing workload in very early, pre-DG1 phases and in later phases for trouble-shooting, de-bottlenecking and Production System Optimisation.
Requirements
Deliver preliminary concept designs and models for gas production systems
Manage and carry out conceptual engineering and optimisation studies in order to define gas engineering projects in terms of technical scope, cost execution strategy and duration
Develop regional perspectives on gas production and gas movements (pipelines, LNG, storage, etc)
Co-ordinate internal and external interfaces and manage their resolution
Occasionally contribute to the development of departmental plans and work methods
Maintain and develop skills and to pass on knowledge and experience to other team members
Ensure that opportunities are reviewed and understood in the broader sense of impact
Experience and Qualifications.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Candidate should have 8+ years plus of broad technical/commercial experience preferably across upstream (EP and Gas) and downstream (Refining and Chemicals).
A high degree of skill or mastery in relevant concept engineering skills for the upstream and front end engineering.
You should be an experienced technical professional with a solid technical background, good communication and inter-personal skills coupled with strong hands-on operating experience.
Candidates must have direct and relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: construction, commissioning and operations for gas facilities.
Any previous experience in the development of difficult hydrocarbons (EOR, tight gas, sour gas, CBM, CCS) will be a benefit.
