My international client is advisory firm focused on providing integrated technical & managerial services to all sectors within the oil & gas sector.

Due to continued growth my client is looking to add a Senior Geophysicist Consultant to its existing team based in London.

The Senior Geophysicist Consultant must have strong academic background, ideally to Degree level in Geology / Geoscience or a related discipline.

The candidate will provide geophysical input to multi-disciplinary projects, from frontier exploration through discovery appraisal to field development and production. You will perform 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best in Class solutions for the client. Presenting the data, interpretations, and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team.

The ideal candidate will advise clients on geophysical matters and provides solutions. You may manage large multi-disciplinary project teams and/or multiple projects simultaneously, handling special projects, as assigned.

Your will have excellent problem solving skills, coupled with a drive for results. Demonstrating a strong knowledge of Geophysics and Geosciences sub-areas, you will have an advanced understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, petroleum geology, geophysics, geophysical mapping, and 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and subsurface mapping techniques. Plus experience in integrating seismic stratigraphic frameworks with sequence stratigraphy from well data.

The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and must demonstrate that they are able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards in all technical work. Sound project management experience and a strong commercial acumen are very important.

My global client serves the oil & gas industry in developing reservoir-driven solutions covering the full asset life cycle, from the earliest phases of project development through abandonment.

The experienced Geophysicist - Principle Advisor must have strong academic background, ideally to Masters Degree level in a Geoscience or related discipline, plus have an extensive proven, hands on experience, knowledge & understanding of the Geophysicist role in a variety of basins.

The role will include working within or leading geosciences and integrated sub-surface teams, you will provide leadership & mentoring whilst actively contributing to the technical study work.

You must have extensive experience in geological interpretation in both exploration and field development planning, as this is considered essential. Preferred candidates will also have gained experience working in an operating environment.

Our client, a leading provider of services to the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry, currently have a requirement for a Senior Construction Engineer (Piping) for work based in the north of Scotland.

Basic Purpose of Job:
Responsible for preparation of construction workpacks, planning and preparation of offshore construction phase of the assigned workscopes.

Main Duties:
Daily
Compile work packs in line with Implementation Processes
Ensure contents of work packs meet with scope requirements.
Report directly to the Construction Focal Points/ Construction Manager
Liaise with Project Engineers to ensure correct priorities are being maintained.
Liaise closely with Design engineers
Raise jobcards
Address platform problems and revert with actions taken.

Weekly
Monitor design deliverable dates
Monitor and report work pack development progress
Attend weekly meetings (Flowline, Confratels, Progress)
Monitor ongoing work with regards to completion dates.
Monitor Punch-list closeouts post offshore handover and deliver to meet closeout KPIs
Liaise with engineering disciplines to effect timely responses to Engineering Queries
Identify resource requirements both engineer and trades, Competencies required and potential clashes between work fronts i.e. Projects and C.P.s and Agree plans)
Liaise with Asset planning Engineers regarding bedding allocations for respective CP`s.

As Required
Deputise for Asset Focal Point
Attend Kick Off Meetings and provide constructability input
Agree minimum required deliverables with design
Where batch working applies, agree suitable offshore construction start date, in line with ``batch plan``
Review CP cost with Project Engineer and, if necessary, advise shortfalls or omissions.
Maintain an awareness of most recent procedures and training requirements that may apply; i.e. SAP upgrades.
Liaise with vendors and sub-contractors
Maintain link with SORT 4 focal point
Monitor 90 day plan with a view to bedding limitations and potential conflicts with other platform activities.

Role:
To manage the specification, vendor control and document review, FAT and delivery of static equipment as part of an onshore terminal upgrade project.
The role will also include the interface management between the disciplines undertaking the upgrade and the equipment manufacturers.

Purpose / Role:
Estimate and execute discipline engineering activities within budget and schedule whilst maintaining technical integrity and complying with HS&E Values and supervision of discipline engineers, designers and administrative functions.
To represent the company internally and externally to management level.
Technical focal point for specific topics.

Key aims and objectives:
Execute engineering activities with respect to Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study, Detailed Design, Root Cause Analysis and Peer Review.
Specify and requisition equipment and packages through to delivery, installation and handover.
Work and co-ordinate with our customer, internal departments and vendors.
Coach and encourage less experienced engineers.

Prime responsibilities and duties:
Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.

Familiar with and competent in commercial, contractual and administrative aspects of engineering.
Maintain good communication with the Client and visit Assets when necessary.
Encourage and provide lateral learning within the department and projects.

Our client is a leading service provider to the Oil & Gas Industry, they currently have a requirement for a QC Inspector to be based at St.Fergus Gas Plant.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:

Internal auditing experience.
NDE experience
Painting & Insulation ICorr certified, Level 1, 2
TSA - Thermally Sprayed Aluminium, coating experience

The inspector performs daily inspection from start to finish related activities to accomplish an efficient and effective inspection management system, in such a way that all activities comply with the requirements outlined by company Inspection Standards.

Field input to improve the Inspection Management System for the project, which shall comply with and be certified to ISO9001.

The Inspector is responsible for liaison with external quality organisations such as certification bodies, in conjunction with Quality Manager.

The inspector is expected to be fully cognisant of the contents of the company Inspection Standard and to operate in strict accordance with the requirements contained therein at all times. Ensure all inspection works are completed in accordance with approved site inspections plans.

Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Main Duties:
To carry out inspection and maintenance records in accordance with company Engineering policy & the contract requirements.

Act as inspector for the daily activities on site - maintenance and upkeep of applicable QA/QC issues.

Performs inspections according predefined inspection scope in work packs. Assess inspection results in relation to applicable performance standards. Report results of carried out inspection activities according instructions of inspection management standard. Identifying any anomalies and report those according procedure as detailed in the inspection management standard.

Keep record of all inspection activities carried out.

Assist the Quality function in the development of QA/QC procedures / processes (on site).

Quality, meeting participation (on site) & presentation on status with regards to the Quality function.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

Education & Qualifications:
Relevant degree, Diploma, Quality Management / Technical

HNC in engineering (with NDE) or equivalent

Experience:

Ability to lead a multi discipline team of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection and NDE personnel. To have a clear understanding of National Codes & Standards, with the ability to interpret their criteria requirements.
The minimum competence requirements are education at Higher Vocational Education level or equivalent, knowledge of quality systems/audits with a recognised engineering background in the area of pressurised equipment and experience in the inspection area of expertise.

A major oil and gas Service Company is looking for a C and I Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely execution of C&I system designs and development of work packs, support to onshore and offshore construction and commissioning to strict timetables.

Main Duties:
Verification of existing C&I system designs and modifications to them, control of designers and ensuring they are usefully employed.
Control and give direction to CAD designers ensure that QA procedures are adhered to. Discuss problems with the client and determine possible solutions for implementation.
Attend project meetings and HAZOPS
Control of time expended on a project ensuring that project expenditure is not exceeded.

Qualifications and Experience:
HNC minimum
Proven ability in the engineering and implementation of C&I projects
Knowledge of electrical systems would be an advantage - principal knowledge base shall be Instruments.
Understanding of offshore codes of practice, regulations and standards
Needs to be aware of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
