Project Engineer required to work within the nuclear industry in our clients Daresbury office. This is to work on a contract basis.

Job Description / Role:
Project Engineer (Intelligent Customer) supporting the Silos Maintenance Facility (SMF) Project
This requirement is for a technically qualified Project Engineer, preferably with nuclear experience.
The role requires the individual to be embedded within an Integrated Project Team in an Intelligent Customer role to oversee the detailed design stage for the project as it moves into the manufacturing phase. The project team team comprises personnel from both the clients organisation (Sellafield Limited) and Babcock International.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting the SL Project Engineering Manager with technical oversight and co-ordination of the engineering disciplines (CEI, Process, Mechanical, Nuclear Ventilation, CSA).
Planning for the procurement and manufacturing stage following issue of detailed design packages into the supply chain.
Implementation of actions to improve project team performance.
The successful candidate will be required work in the sub-contractors offices in Daresbury, Warrington, reporting tof the clients Project Engineering Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
Degree or HND qualified in a Mechanical or CEI discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree qualified with membership of a relevant Engineering Institute recognised by the Engineering Council.

Essential Experience
2 years within the previous 5 years, working within a regulated and quality assured industry in roles reliant on professional engineering judgement.

Preferred Experience
Previous experience of working on nuclear projects preferred.
Previous experience of working on the design or construction of a large nuclear project preferred.

Security Clearance
SC Level preferred, but may accept candidates with no clearance level (provided that as a minimum, they are British nationals) to be initially security cleared by the client at EBS Level.
Clearance up to SC Level may follow once the candidate is mobilised on the project.

Job Description
Member of a team carrying out review and assessment of current relief arrangements on North Sea Production platforms
Gathering data, performing analysis, compiling reports, recommending modifications, interfacing with Operators personnel all as per Process engineer
Verifying that the Technical Approach adopted is appropriate, and documenting methods and basis of design. Securing Operators confirmation / agreement to technical approach
Technical oversight of work performed within the team, mentoring junior engineers, liaison with WorleyParsons project Technical Authority and with WorleyParsons subject matter specialists
Participating in other work as required, for intermittent periods
Requirements

Qualification and Experience
M Eng (Hons) Chemical Engineering or Equivalent appropriate engineering degree
Offshore Design Experience
Proficient in the use of Flarenet (Flare System Analyser) and Hysis
Experience of working with API 521, 520 pt 1 2
Experience of undertaking detailed Flare, Relief Blowdown design studies, including AIV FIV
Experience of undertaking pressure relief audits
Phast Flaresim are desirable but not essential

A experienced Welding Engineer required(min 4 years experience) whohas good knowledge and experience in offshore oil and gas platform/ structures engineering projects.

Ability to identify the deliverables and work content of offshore structures, heavy lift platforms and their components. Ability to develop WPSs from PQRs working form a library or to develop new procedures. Used to working to welding codes EEMUA 158, AWS D1.1 and Norsok M101.

Knowledge of NDT in welded construction is essential.

across MS infrastructure ,SCCM, Messaging, Unified Comms, Storage and Networking.
To work in London and the South, client offices in Berkshire but majority of time will be
spent on clients sites in and around London.
The Infrastructureconsultant will be involved in pre-sales support and post-sales implementation
and has responsibility to deliver chargeable technical consultancy and requires
a detailed understanding of Microsoft technologies (Windows server, AD,Windows 7) knowledge of other MS or general infrastructure (some from exchange, Lync, Security, Citrix, VMware, Storage, Cloud etc) The Infrastructure consultant should be keen to learn other complimentary technologies
to further their skills career progress ion. The Infrastructure consultant will deliver technical pre-sales in the agreed technical specialist area( workshops and consulting in in the agreed technologies, Scoping and
delivering projects and new deployments ) and all required documentation.
InfrastructureConsultant will have good solid skills in their agreed
technical area(s) of specialism.(AD, Exchange, windows 7) plus a solid
understanding of Infrastructure technologies including some from: - SCCM,Lync, Virtualisation etc
