They are currently looking for an Electrical Manager to work from their head office in London.
oLeading the Company's Electrical Engineering effort on the project.
oManage the activities associated with the FSO or TLP electrical equipment.
oIntegrate with other disciplines to ensure the electrical design is robust, compliant and fit for purpose.
oParticipate in PEER reviews.
oGeneration and maintenance of detailed performance standards and technical specifications
oWorking as part of the engineering team.
oInterfacing with Operations to ensure acceptance of the design, construction and commissioning effort.
oManagement of shipyard and module builders/equipment suppliers during vessel fit out and integration.
oPlay a key role in the overall commissioning strategy.
oSupervision of FEED and Detail Design process.
oDefinition of requirements for electrical (including power generation and distribution and instrumentation) equipment
Skills / experience:
oExtensive experience on FSO or TLP projects.
oShipyard construction experience and extensive knowledge of UK/North Sea regulations and UKCS rules.
oPrevious experience with engineering, design, installation and operations support of electrical power systems.
oExperience in a supervisory role.
oPrevious work experience with an Oil and Gas Operator essential.It would also be beneficial to have detailed knowledge of power generation/distribution, safety systems, controls equipment or HVAC.
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

The Global Lubricants entity includes Automotive, Aviation, Industrial and Marine and Energy lubricant technology, as well as Global Product Stewardship, their Global Fuels Technology divison comprises Fuels, Coke, Bitumen and Hydrogen technology.
Their site near Reading is the centre of a global network of fuels and lubricants technology centers around the world. Due to on-going expansion they are currently looking for an Engine Test Technician to join them in their UK operation.
The Engine Test Technician is an integral member of the Test Services team working to support the ongoing projects within Product Testing & Engineering that are associated with: - Product development - Product performance demonstration - Providing the engineering information which facilitates the differentiation of our products
- Supporting engine test programs through assisting in mechanical Installation builds and test cell infrastructure modifications including installing additional sensors and instrumentation in preparation for test bed work. - Work closely with the engineering team to support of a variety of technical projects including maintenance and repair of mechanical test components and test systems where required. - Use of workshop based machinery to fabricate or modify component parts as required.
- It is desirable that the individual has completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline; is qualified to NVQ level 3 or has the equivalent experience.
Essential experience and job requirements
- A background in fabricating and installing mechanical systems to a high standard. - A strong grounding in use of standard workshop equipment. - A knowledge of engine testing in an automotive environment . - Working knowledge of automotive engine design and function. - Ability to work autonomously, managing multiple tasks, understanding priorities and ensure timely execution of required tasks.

Our client is recruiting for a Work Management Scheduler on an 8 month contract to work in Aberdeen.

The Work Management Scheduler is part of the onshore operations team accountable for the smooth operation of Data Input and scheduling of all work on the Assets. The role is central for ensuring optimum Plan Attainment targets are achieved safely. The Work Management Scheduler will produce reports summarising the forecasted work management data, facilitate reviews of forecast and current data and oversee agreed amendments over three assets and provide support and cover for the Asset Schedulers.
The jobholder will also ensure compliance with company Advance and Europe E&P standards.
Administers the Work Management System (WMS) to ensure effective and reliable service is provided to the offshore organisation.
Is a recognized WMS expert and provides guidance and coaching to the user community in the planning and scheduling area.
o Contribute to a culture of continuous HSSE performance improvement.
o Ensure daily activities on the Platform fully comply with company practices including safe systems of work.
o Ensure all work activities are carried out following safety arrangements and that processes are operated in line with industry and internal best practice.
o Ensure that MTL is advised when any Safety Critical Equipment has failed to meet the performance standard.
o Actively contribute to the maintenance team achieving outstanding performance in meeting company Group targets of HSSE and efficiency.
o Responsible for ensuring consistency and accuracy of all information input into WMS.
o Responsible and accountable for managing all Compliance issues for the Installation from a WMS perspective.
