ROV SUPERINTENDENT - RIO DE JANEIRO
Perm position - Brazil
The Role:
Attending client meetings
Site safety
Safe and efficient operation of ROV system
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
Safe operation of the ROV to conduct the required tasks detailed in the project managers
Overall responsibility for the offshore operation and maintenance/ repair of the ROV
Supervision of offshore teams
Ensuring ROV system is maintained and repaired
Ensuring the PMS manual and technical logs are kept up to date
Ensure that goods are checked, and that items displaced from offshore locations are accompanied by the correct paperwork
On vessels chartered or owned by the company, superintendents will have extra responsibilities.
Requirements:
Appropriate trade experience in Mechanical/ Hydraulic or Elecrical/ Electronic disciplines

- _Experience in HYSIS, AERMOD, ADMS, CORMIX, CadnaA, OSCAR-DREAM-PARTRACK suite._

Job Description / Role:
Project Engineer (Intelligent Customer) supporting the Silos Maintenance Facility (SMF) Project
This requirement is for a technically qualified Project Engineer, preferably with nuclear experience.
The role requires the individual to be embedded within an Integrated Project Team in an Intelligent Customer role to oversee the detailed design stage for the project as it moves into the manufacturing phase. The project team team comprises personnel from both the clients organisation (Sellafield Limited) and Babcock International.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the SL Project Engineering Manager with technical oversight and co-ordination of the engineering disciplines (CEI, Process, Mechanical, Nuclear Ventilation, CSA).
Planning for the procurement and manufacturing stage following issue of detailed design packages into the supply chain.
Implementation of actions to improve project team performance.
The successful candidate will be required work in the sub-contractors offices in Daresbury, Warrington, reporting tof the clients Project Engineering Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree or HND qualified in a Mechanical or CEI discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree qualified with membership of a relevant Engineering Institute recognised by the Engineering Council.
Essential Experience
2 years within the previous 5 years, working within a regulated and quality assured industry in roles reliant on professional engineering judgement.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience of working on nuclear projects preferred.
Previous experience of working on the design or construction of a large nuclear project preferred.
