_RESPONSIBILITIES_

- _Technical responsibility for all Houston-based Environmental activity_
- _Maintain and expand Houston capability from people, methods (including software tools) and regulations standpoints_
- _Keep abreast of developments and trends in Environmental regulatory frameworks in US in particular _
- _Development and implementation of Business plan for Houston Environmental services_
- _Preparation of input to proposals execution statements, man-hour estimates, schedules, organization charts_
- _Controls and authorizes relevant environmental engineering activities to ensure necessary environmental performance can be achieved in design, in accordance with project requirements, relevant laws, regulations and codes. _
- _Prepares detailed schedules for applicable environmental activities _
- _Reviews and checks applicable project specifications._

_QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE _

- _15 years of experience in the Oil Gas industry, of which at least 10 years must have been in the upstream._
- _Degree in Engineering or equivalent, professional engineering accreditation or Chartered Status (typically CEng or PEng)._
- _Experience in HYSIS, AERMOD, ADMS, CORMIX, CadnaA, OSCAR-DREAM-PARTRACK suite._
- _Knowledge of designing segregated effluent collection systems and wastewater treatment technologies, preparing waste management plans, preparing environmental impact assessments and other environmental consents/ permits applicable for onshore and offshore facilities, monitoring and reporting environmental performance_

NES Global Talent has an immediate requirement for a Stage 3 Crane Operator based offshore on an staff, Ad Hoc basis (roughly works out to be 180 days per annum).

The primary responsibility is to carry out routine and breakdown maintenance, servicing and lubrication of platform cranage in accordance with client planned preventative maintenance routines and manufacturers manuals/service charts.

Competently operate platform pedestal cranes under the direction of nominated Client personnel. Crane operating duties are restricted to the specific crane(s) and platform(s) on which the Employee has been deemed competent. Operations should be carried out in accordance with the authorised operators

Project Engineer required to work within the nuclear industry in our clients Daresbury office. This is to work on a contract basis.

Job Description / Role:
Project Engineer (Intelligent Customer) supporting the Silos Maintenance Facility (SMF) Project
This requirement is for a technically qualified Project Engineer, preferably with nuclear experience.
The role requires the individual to be embedded within an Integrated Project Team in an Intelligent Customer role to oversee the detailed design stage for the project as it moves into the manufacturing phase. The project team team comprises personnel from both the clients organisation (Sellafield Limited) and Babcock International.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting the SL Project Engineering Manager with technical oversight and co-ordination of the engineering disciplines (CEI, Process, Mechanical, Nuclear Ventilation, CSA).
Planning for the procurement and manufacturing stage following issue of detailed design packages into the supply chain.
Implementation of actions to improve project team performance.
The successful candidate will be required work in the sub-contractors offices in Daresbury, Warrington, reporting tof the clients Project Engineering Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
Degree or HND qualified in a Mechanical or CEI discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree qualified with membership of a relevant Engineering Institute recognised by the Engineering Council.

Essential Experience
2 years within the previous 5 years, working within a regulated and quality assured industry in roles reliant on professional engineering judgement.

Preferred Experience
Previous experience of working on nuclear projects preferred.
Previous experience of working on the design or construction of a large nuclear project preferred.

Security Clearance

Job Description
Member of a team carrying out review and assessment of current relief arrangements on North Sea Production platforms
Gathering data, performing analysis, compiling reports, recommending modifications, interfacing with Operators personnel all as per Process engineer
Verifying that the Technical Approach adopted is appropriate, and documenting methods and basis of design. Securing Operators confirmation / agreement to technical approach
Technical oversight of work performed within the team, mentoring junior engineers, liaison with WorleyParsons project Technical Authority and with WorleyParsons subject matter specialists
Participating in other work as required, for intermittent periods
Requirements

Qualification and Experience
M Eng (Hons) Chemical Engineering or Equivalent appropriate engineering degree
Offshore Design Experience
Proficient in the use of Flarenet (Flare System Analyser) and Hysis
Experience of working with API 521, 520 pt 1 2
Experience of undertaking detailed Flare, Relief Blowdown design studies, including AIV FIV
Experience of undertaking pressure relief audits
Phast Flaresim are desirable but not essential
