Our client based in Leeds is looking to recruit a Technician on a permanent and/or contract basis.
Candidates should have a number of years experience within a bridges background, preferably working on large, new build, detailed design schemes. Candidates should be competent at reinforcement detailing and have very good knowledge of AutoCAD and CADS RC.
The candidate would initially be working on a fairly large detailed design scheme, with 6 new bridges, 2 of which are 6 span curved flyovers. You will be producing complex bridges drawings.

Job Description:
They are currently looking for a Senior Civil or Structural Engineer to join their Nuclear team based in Warrington.
As a Senior Civil or Structural Engineer in Warrington you will undertake structural and seismic design on nuclear projects within the UK. You will liaise directly with clients and contractors, dealing with structural aspects of the projects. This role will also see you involved in the appraisal of existing facilities and engineering report writing. As a seasoned professional you will also provide mentorship to less experienced engineers within the team.
You will hold an appropriate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and be Chartered or nearing Chartership with either the Institution of Civil or Structural Engineers. You will demonstrate a proven track record in structural engineering and the design of heavy civil structures in reinforced concrete and structural steelwork. In addition, you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability and enthusiasm to mentor and supervise less experienced engineers. You will need a valid UK driving licence and you must be eligible for security clearance to a level of baseline standard, therefore you must have been a resident of the UK for at least three years. Experience within the Nuclear Industry would be an advantage however this isn`t essential.

Responsibilities
- To conduct activities in accordance with HSE Management System requirements and to meet all legal obligations.
- Ensure the Companys commercial interests are safeguarded during sales, tendering and contract negotiations up to and including Contract Award.
- Actively ensure the introduction of new business; secure backlog at profitable margins in your area of responsibility.

The Asset Planner you will be working in the Operations Asset Team, and will be responsible for the planning services on the asset, in accordance with asset requirements. They will manage the integrated Life of Field Asset Plan, and produce asset / project schedules, shutdown plans and histograms and S curves. The Asset Planner will be responsible for the population of maintenance planning schedule, utilizing scope from the maintenance management system (MMS), and will also be responsible for progress reporting in order to allow safe and efficient execution of work scopes. They will liaise with offshore personnel and onshore support team to coordinate major and minor project work, and ensure compliance and commitment to all relevant standards, policies and procedures. The Asset Planner will report to the Department Head Project Controls on a regular basis as well as to the Manager Operations.
The successful applicant will be an analytically strong and accurate Planner with strong communication skills. They will have a technical engineering background, either by education or equivalent knowledge by experience, experience in the oil gas/ offshore industry. They will enjoy working on international, multidisciplinary turn-key projects in an offshore environment and will have offshore training and medical certificates as required in the area of operation.

A company which provides services to the Power Generation industry requires a Productivity Manager to be responsible for the MEA region to be based in Dubai.
The Productivity Manager will be responsible for driving outage productivity through technology improvement, schedule optimization, logistics, vendors, project management, productivity metrics, and early adoption of best practices at the site level. This person will interface with the Projects team, Field Execution team, Top Programs Team, and customers as part of their duties and will be expected to translate this interaction into tangible results at the site level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and understand the standard work-scope of every outage and review productivity initiatives special tools and drive utilization of same
- Assist the optimization of job cost estimates (JCE) and Man-load schedules using Primavera as appropriate to understand idle time and productivity opportunities.
- Reviews Bid Document to ensure appropriate productivity measures have been accounted for
- Ensures Implementation and execution of Top Programs on all applicable sites and quantifies the results
- Effectively applies project planning methodology and enforces a productivity focus in rigorous weekly execution rhythms
- Conducts in depth analysis on potential cost savings opportunities to determine feasibility, cost/benefit, break-even and works with Service Managers to implement those opportunities
- Work closely with GE LEAN Black Belts globally to share knowledge of project successes and to ensure productivity opportunities are addressed and escalated in a timely fashion
- Quantifies productivity on a granular level in both hours and dollars for executive report out
- Tooling Coordination. Analyzes specialty tooling and assists PMs and SMs for each outage
- Develops and implements productivity training
- Works closelywith the different SM / PMs to leverage new/existing solutions and global design to drive standardization simplification to reduce implementation timelines/costs and guarantee effective application of optimal solutions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
