My Client is one of the world largest oil and gas operator, they are looking for a Technical Advisor-Subsea for their Pangbourne office with the following details.
ROLE SYNOPSIS
The Subsea Technical Advisor role will be part of Energy Lubricants Central Technical Services team and will provide support to Sales and Technical Services business functions. It is the responsibility of the Subsea Technical Advisor to provide a comprehensive level of expert technical support to the Subsea Sales, Technical Sales and Technical Service teams and their defined portfolio of customers consistent with the business technical offer and overall strategy.
The Subsea Technical Advisor will facilitate a high level of customer satisfaction by enhancing the capabilities of the above teams through direct support and through coaching and training activities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Providing expert technical support and advice to the Sales and Technical Service Teams including support for technical claims and complaints.
- Acting as the central point of contact in responding to technical queries escalated by the Subsea Sales Technical Service Teams, liaising where appropriate with the Global Lubricants Technology team.
- Chairing a Subsea group of the Energy Global Technical Service network with the objective of ensuring delivery of a consistent Subsea Technical Service offer, transfer of best practice and sharing of knowledge.
- Coaching and mentoring the Subsea Sales and Technical service teams in articulating the ability of the Subsea business to meet customers explicit needs, delivering value through the intelligent application of our technology.
- Accountable for developing technical relationships with key industry OEMs, professional bodies and trade associations, both direct and in conjunction with the Global Technology Team as appropriate.

KEY RSPONSIBILITY AREAS
Playing a lead role in interfacing on all technical and commercial matters

My Client is looking for a PMC Piping Engineer (contract) to join their Greenfield Operations business in London. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering all discipline activities to cost, schedule and quality criteria.
DISCIPLINE OVERVIEW:
The Piping and Plant Layout Discipline provides concept, FEED and detailed design services for both on and offshore Oil Gas facilities. Engineering positions involve the layout, material specification, stress analysis, requisition of piping bulk materials and comprehensive analysis of piping designs to ensure inherently safe systems. Design positions involve equipment modeling, piping layout and pipe support design within a 3D environment, including drafting and calculation of bulk quantities and weights.
PROJECT:
My Client has been awarded a $528 million (330 million) Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contract by the big operator for a new oil refinery in Kuwait.
When completed in 2018 the multi-billion dollar refinery is expected to be the largest in the Middle East and will increase Kuwaits refinery capacity by 615,000 barrels per day. It will be a key part of Kuwaits long term strategy, producing cleaner fuels to meet its electrical power generation growth and demand while adhering to the latest environmental standards.
PURPOSE/ROLE:
Manage discipline team.
Assist with discipline objectives and budget across Business Unit.
KEY AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Review and comment on Technical documentation to ensure compliance to specifications and requirements.

MY CLIENT IS ONE OF THE LARGEST OPERATOR IN OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY WHO IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER WITH THE FOLLOWING DETAILS;
BACKGROUND
The project is located in the eastern central part of Algeria, approximately 1300 kilometres (800 miles) from the capital city of Algiers. The project consists of construction of permanent accommodation camp and utilities buildings, provision of new slug catcher, the addition of two train inlet compression to the existing Central Processing Facilities (CPF). The exploitation of the existing four gas fields in the contract area is being undertaken by client under the terms of a Production Sharing Agreement.
The Construction Manager will initially be located at the Joint Venture base in Algeria. Relocation to the field site offices will not take place until enhanced security measures have been implemented. This is expected to be 1Q2014.
The Construction Manager will work an equal time 28/28 day rotation.
FUNCTION:
Manage the companies construction team at site to provide oversight and direction of the EPC contractor at the Project site.
In addition the position has execution responsibility for a number of support activities including shipment/transport of materials and equipment in Algerian. Movement of equipment and materials around the existing Project processing facilities, management of heavy lifts and management of the companies accommodation camp and support utilities.
Total numbers at site and housed in the companies accommodation camp is not expected to exceed 700 people.
In addition to the green field construction there will be brown field modifications inside the existing Project Central Processing Facility which will come under the direction and management of the Companies Construction Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Leadership.
- Champion and lead a project Incident and Injury Free Safety Culture for all onsite and offsite based construction and fabrication activities. This includes all project safety and security procedures. Particularly promote and lead the project Land Transport Management System (LMTS).
- In conjunction with the EPC contractor develop and maintain a sustainable safety culture on the project so that safety is a natural part of all work performed.
- Build and manage the Companies site construction team so to provide seamless management between EPC Contractor and existing project site processing facilities.
- Provide direction and support to the EPC Contractors Construction activities.
- Ensure EPC Contractor performs construction work in accordance with Companies HSSE and quality requirements.
- Participate in all risk reviews and develop mitigation plans for all major areas of risk. Ensure that procedures and processes are in place to both identify and mitigate risks posed to the workforce during new build construction works and SIMOPs work inside the existing project process area.
- Lead all project construction integrated functions and over see all on site construction management, supervision and companies inspection including subcontracts and off site construction.
- Direct and ensure the overall EPC construction plan does not adversely impact the day to day operations of the existing project process plant.
HSSE
- Comply with client HSSE rules and champion these with EPC contractor opposite number.
- Posses a strong commitment to HSSE values and demonstrates such by establishing a credible inspection capability with in the project environment.
- Promote a high standard of HSSE behaviour with in the Field Inspection team and EPC Contractor organisation.
QUALIFICATIONS.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline. Extensive industry experience in a similar position would also be considered.
- Valid UKOA Plus (or equivalent) medical certification.
- Fluent English speaker, French advantageous.
EXPERIENCE.
- Minimum 15 years onshore experience as Construction Manager within Oil and Gas sector.
- Minimum 10 overseas experience, 5 of which should be in remote desert location working with a multi national work force essential.
- Previous Brown Field modifications experience including SIMOPs essential.
