RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.
- Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of computer aided drafting techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Performs work which involves conventional design practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of CAD experience in a downstream plant environment performing site Civil works.
- Experience in developing construction drawings for site preparation, finish grading, drainage (ditches/channels, ponds, dikes), and roads.
- Experienced in the use of in-Roads, PDS, PDMS, and SPD 3D.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

An EPC contractor to the marine and offshore oil gas industry requires an Estimator to join them on a permanent residential basis in Dubai, UAE.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager the main purpose of the position is the supervision of tenders submitted by Estimators and ensuring all tenders are submitted in time. Preparation of the invoices and negotiation of the prices with the Owner Representative. Supervision of Estimators with less experience in teamwork. Discussion and negotiation of prices for subcontractors work.
Assisting the Manager - Estimating to update the list of enquiries and to follow-up tenders with clients and agents; Preparing tenders; Invoicing.
Preparation of detailed/accurate estimates for the additional repair work for all types of vessels and offshore structures.
Inspection of the vessels and follow-up the repairs and assistance on cost control.
Discussion of the technical and commercial details with the representative (s) of the Owners and negotiation and settlement of the invoice.
Supervision and guidance of less experienced Estimators as team leader.
Discussion of the technical and commercial details and negotiation of prices with the Yard`s subcontractors.
Responsible for implement and monitor OHSAS Management System.
Ensure that the Safety, Quality Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.
Suitable candidates will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering; Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture with engineering/seagoing background, a condition of preference. Technical background with experience in a similar position in a large Ship repair yard. Assertive, courteous personality with good organizational and negotiation skills. Fluency in English language both written and spoken, essential.

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER POWER SERVICE DEPARTMENT, UK
Wehave a vacancy within the Power Commissioning Department for Commissioning Engineers.
The engineer would be required to attend customer sites to supervise the mechanical and electrical installation of our equipment.
Upon completion of the installation, to be involved with the team of engineers to fully bring into service and fully commission and load performance test.
The position involves working on projects overseas as well as in the UK.
ESSENTIAL:
- A working knowledge of PLCs and some experience in programming logic.
- Electrical knowledge and skills with some experience in control panels and diagnostic fault finding.
- Combustion experience and knowledge of the chemical process
- Mechanical engineering skills and general knowledge
