C# Developer

Software Developer - Permanent - Lancashire

Development:

Designs, codes and documents software solutions.
The Software Developer will adhere to software development standards & processes as set by the Architecture team.
Commission standards as relevant at the time.
Conducts & takes part in peer review of work product
Communicates & liaises with internal IT teams & departments as necessary
Communicates & liaises with 3rd party Developers & Testers as necessary
Communicates & liaises with internal business users as necessary

Maintenance:

The Software Developer will have experience of developing software updates to existing systems, as req`d within a project or System Change Request
The Software Developer will investigate & determine resolutions for problems identified with existing systems, as reported via Support teams.

Technical skills & experience

Multidiscipline background between web & middle tier development
Strong understanding of OOP concepts
Direct experience of WCF & SOA
C#, JavaScript, CSS, XML / XSLT
Experience of working on large e-commerce or media sites would be a bonus
Good understanding of improving user experience through design
