Health and Safety and Environmental Specialist, preferably also able to undertake Quality Assurance tasks. Able to advise on H&S and Environmental issues, and undertake HS& E site inspections and audits. Experience of the salient management systems; BS EN ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007, also preferable experience in working to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and contract QA work. Experience in working to CDM regulations essential and working to/generating Construction Phase H & S Plans, Environmental plans and Quality Plans.
Minimum qualification/experience requirements are:- NEBOSH National General Certificate or Construction Certificate in health and safety. A recognised general environmental qualification and/or be able to demonstrate significant experience on environmental issues within Industry/Construction. Auditor trained. Membership of professional organisations could be beneficial.
6 week contract based in Staffordshire, rate negotiable.
