Location: North West

Circa £55,000 Basic, Car Allowance & Executive Benefits

Due to growth my client, a leading global pharmaceutical organisation, is looking to add a Mechanical bias Engineering Manager to its existing team based in the North West.

The successful candidate will ideally have a Chartered Engineer status and have a proven Mechanical Engineering background with experience working within highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance strategy and the technical performance of plant & equipment within the operations area.

You must ensure the required standards of quality and cGMP are incorporated into the maintenance strategy, to ensure the required standards of environment, health and safety are incorporated into the maintenance strategy and to initiate, support and take an active part in operational excellence initiatives and objectives within the operations area, which realise business benefits.

You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of engineering improvement plans, whilst delivering the capital projects plan. The candidate will provide technical support on the day to day activities of the operations area multi discipline engineering team. Technically supporting plant breakdowns and resolving them as soon as possible.
