My client serves the oil & natural gas industries with reservoir consulting and services for drilling. Providing high performance technologies my client creates added value from oil & gas reservoirs.

Due to continued growth my client is looking to add a Senior Completion Engineer to its existing team based in Aberdeen. This is an on-shore role with regular field trips.

The role will involve the planning and direct completion of well engineering activities, with both office and field responsibilities. You will lead the engineering design and operational plans for completion, workover and intervention activities in wells, with responsibility including completion design, material and equipment selection, quality assurance and post-job evaluation.

You will define rig selection criteria and requirements, whilst monitoring daily progress of jobs and projects against the pre-defined KPI`s and costs.

Strong knowledge of completion, tubing, flow and well design software is essential and some experience in Well Control Certification would also be advantageous.

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the commercial and contractual requirements to execute a completion program. Experience of both offshore & onshore operations and deepwater and/or HPHT is preferred.

As an integral member of the team, you will have a Bachelor`s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with operational experience in drilling, preferably with an operator.
