Your Health
We take great pride in placing the welfare of our talented professionals at the heart of everything we do, so we have medical insurances and evacuation assistance measures in place where needed - giving you peace of mind when you're on assignment overseas.
Medical treatment and evacuation assistance
Medical evacuation (sometimes referred to as medevac or medivac), the movement of individuals suffering from a serious illness or other medical emergency, is critical for a company like NES Global Talent that mobilises contractors all over the world all the time.
Where our contractors have been taken ill while working overseas in high-risk locations such as Papua New Guinea or Nigeria, the arrangements we have in place with our medical and logistical providers have ensured that such emergencies are handled efficiently, minimising distress for the individual and their family.
Having such comprehensive processes and procedures in place should an emergency situation arise has saved the lives of several NES Global Talent contractors, for which we are very proud.
You can be confident that where you are enrolled on one of our medical insurance policies, we will do what we can to co-ordinate your medical evacuation in the unlikely event that you need it. Peace of mind that we're here to look after you.
If you are due to mobilise on an assignment abroad with NES Global Talent, please contact your local consultant to obtain confirmation as to the medical insurance policy that you will be provided, details of the policy's scope and its terms and conditions.
Malaria control
In high-risk malaria areas - any area of the world where the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recognized a risk of malaria - we have Malaria Control Programmes in place. Contractors are scheduled for Pre-Travel Consultations with our consulting physicians for orientation and inoculations. Our contractors are issued with protective malaria clothing prior to entrance into malaria zones. Malaria curative kits upon arrival at their destination. To find out more about how we can help, please contact your nearest Regional Director.
